Still searching for the best Base location in Palworld? Follow our guide to find the optimal space for constructing your own little empire of Pals.
Choosing the perfect spot for your Base in Palworld is an act of survival, as the wrong location can cripple your progress. A well selected place not only enhances resource gathering efficiency but also fortifies against raids while providing shelter for your Pals. We picked several ideal locations for a Base and marked them on the Palworld Interactive Map.
When scouting for an optimal base location try to find all the following aspects:
You can have more than just one base, but it’s not that easy. First, you need to upgrade your existing Palbox to level 10. This will allow you to place a second Palbox. Upon reaching Palbox level 15, you can place a third and final Palbox.
Keep in mind that you can always Disassemble an existing Palbox and get your materials back. However, be aware that certain structures will also be dismantled, as they rely on a Palbox to function.
In essence, while it is possible to construct a base without a Palbox, it won’t operate independently since you won’t be able to assign any Pals to work on it. Instead, it would need to be manually done by a player. But you can always build any structure or object almost anywhere for quick crafting or storage purpose.
If you don’t want to search on your own, check out our Interactive map with perfect base locations in Palworld. This will allow you to concentrate on an actual gameplay rather than spending hours searching for the ideal spot. We will soon add a description of every spot on the map. It will be enough to hover over it to read.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
