Path of Exile developers have announced the release date of the next expansion. Expansion 3.18 will debut in May, and a week before the release we will see its official presentation.
Two months ago Path of Exile received a new expansion called Siege of Atlas. Its release turned out to be a great success and resulted in a record number of active players and many positive reviews.
This expansion will soon live to see its successor. Developers from Grinding Gear Games have announced that on May 13 we will receive another DLC for the game. The developers have also shared some basic information about it.
First of all, the creators informed that the upcoming expansion will be smaller than the one released in February. However, players can count on a new temporary league (challenge league), many fixes and some content.
Detailed information about the expansion will be shared during a special live broadcast. It will take place about a week before the planned release of the DLC.
Moreover, the creators revealed that they are working on improvements to the game engine and elimination of problematic bugs. These changes will be implemented before the Archnemesis League closes.
All we can do now is wait for more news from Grinding Gear Games, because so far the studio has shared only this scarce dose of information.
