These reports seem very likely, given the developer's recent activities. A month ago, Starbreeze AB published a teaser trailer for PayDay 3. It suggests that a gameplay video will be presented this summer. If the leak is confirmed, we are likely to see a very short marketing campaign

PayDay 3 is an action game in which players will take on the role of members of a criminal group specializing in robbing banks, jewelry stores, casinos and other heavily secured facilities. The mainstay of the game will be a cooperative mode for up to four players, who must work together to complete tasks and escape with the loot. The game will also offer RPG elements, such as character progression and customization of weapons and outfits. Its action will be set in "living, powerful New York City."
