Persona 5 Strikers Now Available on Steam
Persona 5 Strikers is here. The game was released last year in Japan, and today it debuts in English version on several major platforms, including PC and PlayStation 4.
Today, the English version of Persona 5 Strikers, a hack'n'slash by Omega Force and a spin-off to the hit jRPG by Atlus, made its debut on the market. The game was released on PC (Steam), as well as Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The PC version uses the DRM protection Denuvo.
It is worth specifying that the game originally launched in February last year in Japan. Today marks the released of the English version and the PC edition, because in the Land of the Rising Sun Persona 5 Strikers was released exclusively on consoles.
Many reviews of the game are already available on the web and its reception is positive. The PS4 release has an average rating of 84% on Metacritic. In the case of Nintendo Switch it is 79%, and 80% on PC. These results are a bit worse than in the case of Persona 5 (93%), but it should be remembered that P5 Strikers is a hack'n'slash spin-off, not a sequel.
Omega Force's latest game is supposed to effectively recreate the atmosphere of the original and offer a plot that is an intriguing follow up to the story of the game's popular characters. In addition, Persona 5 Strikers is praised for its campaign design. Most of the team's games are based on the Dynasty Warriors series, but this time the devs took only some of its elements, avoiding its biggest weakneses, such as repetitive missions or grind.
Also the reception of Persona 5 Strikers by players is positive. On Steam the game already has over 400 reviews and as many as 96% of them are positive.
