Sandbox games often do not have clear questlines or goals defined other than a general, distant objective to strive for and guide players’ efforts. However, that doesn’t mean that they are meaningless. It’s usually up to us to find purpose and next objective. Recently fully released The Planet Crafter follows this pattern, too. Sometimes, to indicate the progress or give small hints about the direction, we can turn to achievements. Not all of them are visible from the get-go and are hidden by the creators. What are they in case of this astral title? Let’s find out!

Hidden achievements in The Planet Crafter and how to get them

There are reasons for hiding achievements in games. By concealing them the developers protect us from spoilers letting us explore on our own to find them. The situation is no different in the case of The Planet Crafter.

There are people (me included) who hunt for those endorphin inducing pop-ups no matter what. If you are also on the lookout for them, here’s all 7 (so far) hidden achievements (or trophies, if the production ever reaches consoles) in this title:

  1. A Door ? (Find a weird door in a cave),
  2. Golden flower (Find your first golden seed),
  3. Fusion Energy (Craft your first fusion cell),
  4. The Pink Rare Ore (Craft or find a Pulsar Quartz),
  5. Subjection (Leave the planet with Sentinel Corp),
  6. Subservience (Leave the planet with smugglers),
  7. Subversion (Leave the planet with the Wardens portal).

As you can see, the first 4 are related to exploration, while the last 3 are connected to the game’s endings. Even though they are hidden, it doesn’t mean they are hard to complete besides the last 3, obviously, as they are related to the very end of the game. The exploration related, however, are fairly simple to unlock. If you are still unsure how to get them explore, develop, grow. They will come in time and are hard to miss.

The rarest of the hidden ones (so far, according to Steam Achievement’s page of the game), unrelated to endings, is Fusion Energy. It is obtained by more than 20% of players and is related to progression. Keep pushing and you’ll get them all in no time. Good luck!
