Player Downloaded All Skyrim Mods to Make a Map

Player created a map of Skyrim mods. Thanks to it you can see which areas of the virtual world were modified most often.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • A Reddit user created a map of all mods for Skyrim available on Nexus Mods;
  • Thanks to it we learned which areas of the virtual world are most frequently modified;
  • It turns out that almost the entire available area in Skyrim has been affected in some way by the mods.

Ever wondered which areas of the map in Skyrim are most frequently modified by players? If so, one fan of the game has the answer for you.

We haven't seen such a map yet

A Reddit user by the handle thallada has designed a full-fledged map of mods created for the latest installment of The Elder Scrolls series in Special Edition. You can check which areas of the virtual world are the most popular among modders.

Howeve, thallada started working on this unique project to find out something completely opposite. He was looking for areas that are not popular among modders.

Thanks to that, when creating his own mods, he could place them in those areas. This would reduce the risk of conflicts with objects and changes designed by other players.

White spots of modding activity are rare in Skyrim

Unfortunately, after taking into account all mods available on Nexus Mods the creator of the map could come to only one conclusion - almost the entire map area in the game is covered by countless modifications.

The map he created enables us to appreciate the work of Skyrim's modding community. It clearly shows that players have more or less modified almost every inch of the virtual world.

You can view the map yourself here, on the website created by thallad. It is interactive and allows for an in-depth analysis of what mods are present in which parts of Skyrim.
