Puzzled by Shadow Mantle in Deltarune Chapter 3? You will need the Ice Key and Shelter Key to get it

For the long time Deltarune was available only as a demo containing Chapters 1 and 2. Yesterday, however, another two parts of the story were released. The game gathered hundreds of thousands of players (via SteamDB). Part of the charm of this productions is secrets – in Chapter 3 you can face an additional boss. However, to fight him you will need Shadow Mantle. So, how do you get this item?

How to get Shadow Mantle in Deltarune Chapter 3?

In the first place, you must achieve rank S in Tenna’s Game Show, this gets you access to the room exclusive for S-Rank players in the Green Room. When you enter this place, turn left and talk to the lady in front of the door. This will give you access to Backstage and an old console. After each round of the Game Show (every time you must get S), you need to return there and complete the minigame.

1. In first of them, you must go south to reach the staircase – you will get the sword there. Now, kill enemies on the map to level up. This will allow you to cut the trees. When you finish grinding, you can go to the screen before the cave to cut down the trees in the south. Move down and at some point you will find a chest with an Ice Key inside.
2. In the second minigame you again start by finding the sword (in this case you must go west and north). Now, as before, you must kill enemies to level up. When you do this, you can destroy the ferns and board the raft. Go up the waterfall and board the second boat. Swim northwest and search for the dock on the white land. Go right and up – at some point you will get to a door that can only be opened by the Ice Key. Inside you will find puzzles, which we describe in our guide explaining how to unlock the hidden boss. At the end of your journey, you will find the Shelter Key.
3. During the last minigame, you must find your sword again. This time it is southeast (look for the staircase). Next you must kill your teammates to level up. This will allow you to destroy posts and get access to sewers. In the underground, you must kill all enemies to get the ability to destroy the bright obstacle. This will open you a route to the boss. You must defeat it to get the chest with Shadow Mantle inside.
