Rainbow Six: Siege will be getting new content for another year

Ubisoft have promised that they are going to support Rainbow Six: Siege with new content updates for another year. There is also one add-on to come out this year, called Red Crow.

Rainbow Six: Siege has been with us for almost a year now, during which this competitive tactical shooter received lots of extra content, both free and paid. In the face of such a positive reception of the game, Ubisoft have confirmed that another season of DLCs is coming. This means that Rainbow Six: Siege will be getting new content updates and support at least until December 2017. Hence, fans should probably set some money aside for the second season pass – you can get the first one for $29.99 on Steam.

In the meantime, Rainbow Six: Siege season pass holders are going to get the Red Crow DLC early, this Thursday, with the rest of the community able to join them a week later. The fourth and last add-on this year is going to introduce two operators and a map. The new playable characters – Echo and Hibana – are members of Japan’s Special Assault Team. Ubisoft have revealed a couple of short videos with the overview of Red Crow’s content:
