Raising Spirits Quest in Diablo 4 - How to use Emote?

Raising Spirits is a side quest found in Kyovashad in Diablo IV. You may have trouble completing it, as your character must use emotes. We offer assistance.

We explain how to start the Raising Spirits side mission, as well as how to use the emote on the militia to greet them in Diablo IV. Performing this action correctly is required to complete the quest.

Accessing the side quest

After reaching the city of Kyovashad, you need to find the Raising Spirits side quest marker – reach the northern part of the city and talk to Guard Boza.

Using the Cheer emote next to soldiers

Go to the place marked with a blue circle on the map, where Militia train.

You can't talk to soldiers by clicking on them. Instead, you need to call up the Emotes tab – emotes can also be used to communicate with other players.

You won't find the emote you're looking for in the first window of the radial menu. Go to the first tab – only here you will find the Cheer emote you're looking for.

Completion of the quest

Selecting the correct emote will update the quest. You can return to Guard Boza and claim your rewards – 280 Gold, 20 Renown, and 624XP.
