Rockstar Games pretty much abandoned the development of Red Dead Redemption 2, but on PC the baton has been taken over by fans, who release interesting modifications every now and then. The latest noteworthy project is ZEN, which takes immersion in the game to a whole new level.

While exploring the virtual Wild West, we regularly encountered NPCs doing things that were impossible for our character. This mod changes that, enabling us to use all the so-called scenarios previously available only to NPCs.

The list of possible actions is extensive. The player can, among other things:

  1. sit on chairs, benches, stairs and ledges,
  2. lean against fences, railings and walls,
  3. sleep on beds, on the ground and on bedding,
  4. lift and play musical instruments,
  5. use buckets filled with water to wash themselves,
  6. play the piano,
  7. split wood,
  8. clean clothes.

ZEN is therefore a real treat for those who enjoy role playing. It is worth mentioning that the project is based on an earlier mod called Immersive Scenarios, but offers many more options.

PC edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 debuted in November 2019. The game continues to be very popular - yesterday on Steam RDR2 was played by more than 40,000 players. This is a result that the game can be envied by most new productions. So it is not surprising that RDR2 can boast an active modding community.
