The Day Before - the story in a nutshell

For those who have not been following the commotion surrounding The Day Before, we would like to remind you that the game by Fntastic was announced in early 2021. (the release was supposed to take place later that year). At the time, no one suspected that in the following months and years the developers would provide plenty of reasons to start doubting that the game even existed.

Doubts about the authenticity of the project were raised primarily by the alleged gameplay footage released by the developers. On top of that, there were numerous delays, excessive reliance on the ideas of other developers and removal of the game from Steam for using a registered trademark.

Given all these "adventures", it is not surprising that even when the developers officially announced the release date of The Day Before in Early Access, some gamers still did not believe that the game would actually be released.

Fortunately, in a few hours we will be able to confront the promises with reality and see if their yesterday's apology for the confusion surrounding the game was actually sincere.
