Today marks the release of Remnant II, the sequel to the popular Remnant: From the Ashes from 2019. The original successfully combined looter shooter with elements of the soulslike genre. Players really liked such a mix, so interest in the sequel is high, which is very well illustrated by excellent pre-order results.
Those interested in the console versions of the game are advised to read our article describing the graphics modes available in these editions:
A number of reviews have managed to appear online and most of them praise the game. On OpenCritic Remnant II has an average rating of 80%. Below we cite sample review scores:
Most reviewers praise the excellent combat system, interesting progression mechanics and excellent atmosphere.. The game's strength is also said to be the randomness of many elements, making it possible to play it repeatedly without feeling bored.
Criticized is the weak storyline and the fact that the game spreads its wings only when playing in cooperative mode, and solo gameplay is not very satisfying. Overall, from the reviews emerges a picture of a sequel that is better than the original, so if you liked the first part, you should also enjoy the sequel.
Finally, it is worth quoting the system requirements of the PC version of the game.
