Riot Games' Greg Street reported on Twitter that the company is working on an MMO set in the League of Legends universe. Fans have been asking for such a production for a long time.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Riot Games is working on an MMO game set in the League of Legends universe;
  2. The community has been asking for a similar title for years;
  3. For the time being, we don't have any details about this production.

It seems that Riot Games is working on an MMO set in a universe of the League of Legends. The information appeared on Twitter in the posts published by Greg Street, the company's vice president for brands and entertainment.

It's worth noting that an MMO is something LoL fans have been asking for a long time. For the time being, we have virtually no information about the project, and we'll probably have to wait a longer time for its launch - last year the company's CEO, Marc Merrill, said that this type of project requires a lot of work.

"I'd love to make an MMO, just to manage the expectations though, if we were to do something like that, it wouldn't be soon," said Riot Games CEO in an interview with youtuber Travis Gafford.

All we can do is to be patient and wait for more reports, starting with the title and target platforms.
