Ebb Software has just released a short video announcing the new release date for Scorn. Fortunately, this time it is not a delay.
Today, Ebb Software, creators of the dark survival horror game Scorn, announced on their YouTube channel a new release date for their game. Scorn will launch as early as October 14, instead of 21, as was planned previously. This is a nice change of pace at a time when game debuts are often delayed by developers (like Skull and Bones, just yesterday).
The reason for this decision has not been officially explained, perhaps it was done just for the sake of impatient gamers - but it seems more likely to be a desire to avoid clashing with high-profile titles like A Plague Tale: Requiem or Gotham Knights. New teaser of Scorn, called "You've waited long enough..." and revealing its earlier release date, can be watched below.
Scorn is heading to Xbox Series X/S consoles and PCs. The game will also be available on the Game Pass service, and the developers have confirmed that it will also appear in the subscription on October 14. Until release day, the title is available on Steam at a 10 percent discount.
It is worth mentioning that the work on Scorn has been going on for several years, and despite the initial failure of the Kickstarter fundraiser, the developers are persistently pursuing the project.
