Scorn - how to solve crane puzzle?
Scorn is an atmospheric horror game that can be praised for interesting visual effects. However, it has a number of challenging puzzles. One of them is the crane puzzle.
Scorn was released today. Players have managed to notice 2 things - atmospheric graphics and challenging puzzles. This page will tell you how to complete one of them - a crane puzzle.
First steps - how to play
When you start the game, you have to take the lift to the upper floor. There you will find a room where you can turn on the crane.
The aim of this puzzle is to get the glowing egg to the top left corner - there are 2 (single and double). However, don't let this mislead you. The first one, the easy one, is just for practice, as the crane will drop it.
You have to keep in mind that the eggs cannot move through the long gaps in the board. Also, some are connected to each other and you have to navigate the whole set. The final set of the puzzle can be found in the screenshot above.
Getting rid of an unnecessary element
First, move the single glowing egg to the top left-hand corner. You can easily do this by placing the inconvenient double eggs in the bottom row, and also stacking the single egg there. Move the second single capsule to the right-hand side.
With this set-up in place, go to the machine next to you and switch it on - as I mentioned earlier, you will fail, but you have got rid of an unnecessary item. You can then move on to the main objective of the puzzle.
Solution to the riddle
First of all, you need to realise that there are holes on the right side of the puzzle that you should fill. Move single eggs there. Then push the double eggs from the top row to the left.
Now move the double glowing egg up and to the left. Using the empty top row, bring 2 double eggs from the left side of the puzzle to the right side. Meanwhile, place the single capsules on the lowest row - as shown in the screenshot above.
It is time to move the last single egg from the left, into the gap on the right (in the middle row). Next transport the double capsule from the left to the right side of the top row. The way is open for the glowing egg - place it in the top left corner.
