Shadow Warrior 2, which is launching on PC later today, is currently one of the top selling Steam games – it had even briefly topped Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with the king of FPS now back on the throne. If you’re considering buying this action-packed first-person shooter with lots of melee combat and magic, you can still pre-purchase it on Steam with a 10% discount, that is for $35.99. But don’t take too much time, because the special offer ends when the game goes officially live, which is in just a couple of hours. Also, check out this ridiculously over the top 1980s-styled launch trailer.
Shadow Warrior 2 is the sequel to the 2013’s remake of the classic Shadow Warrior from 3D Realms, released in 1997. Both the remake and its sequel were developed by Polish studio Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital. Once more, you get to play as Lo Wang, a hired sword of the local Yakuza, who has to engage all of his fighting skills to push back demonic forces invading the Earth. Shadow Warrior 2’s key features are: spectacular combat with both melee and ranged weapons (including firearms), brutal damage system with precise blade strikes, procedurally generated environment, and four player co-op.
Shadow Warrior 2 is also coming to Xbox One and PlayStaton 4 consoles early next year.
