Shadow Warrior 2 PC coming out in less than two months

Flying Wild Hog's Shadow Warrior is going to get a sequel in less than two months - at least this is true for its PC version.

Back in 2013 Flying Wild Hog’s reincarnation of the classic Shadow Warrior proved to be a success. Now the same studio is almost ready to release that game’s sequel. According to what the devs wrote on Twitter, Shadow Warrior 2 is going to launch on PC in less than two months, which means it’s coming out on October 10, 2016 at the latest. In addition to its Steam release, the game will be available in a DRM-free version on GOG.com. The fact that the developer mentioned the PC edition specifically may suggest that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are coming a little bit later, but we can’t say for sure.

As much as players enjoyed 2013’s Shadow Warrior, its gameplay was a bit repetitive. This is why Flying Wild Hog decided to push the proven mechanics one step forward in Shadow Warrior 2. This includes more open world structure as well as a deeper narrative. On the other hand, this will still be a dynamic first-person shooter with a protagonist able to wield swords, guns and magic to defeat hordes of demonic enemies.
