Silence is Trine meets Alice in Wonderland

Silence is an indie adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment. Set in a fantasy world derived from war-torn reality, it will focus on telling the story of 3 different characters. The title will be heading to PC and next-gen consoles in Q4 2016.

After the bombs fall, roaring and banging stops, leaving only silence behind. Daedalic Entertainment, an indie developer from Hamburg, Germany, turned the silent phenomenon into a game. And so Silence came to life, telling a story of two siblings – Noah and Renie – who seek shelter to survive an air raid, and find one in a bunker. Along with safety comes Silence – a fantasy world within which an emotional story unfolds, telling a magical tale of friendship and love.

Silence’s visuals will consist of 2D hand-drawn backgrounds and 3D characters. The game is to deliver around 12 hours of adventure, during which you’ll be given an opportunity to play as 3 different heroes, crossing paths with imaginary creatures such as a magical caterpillar. Silence is to be released at the end of 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
