SimCity 4 Now in Cities: Skylines; Impressive Collection of Buildings

A Steam user has created a collection of buildings modeled after SimCity 4 for Cities: Skylines. This set can be downloaded by anyone interested.

If you like city builder games you should be familiar with SimCity 4. After all, this is a true classic, considered one of the best games in the genre. However, there's no denying that this title has aged badly and may not be particularly attractive nowadays. For those who do not necessarily want to return to the game, but miss its atmosphere, however, there is hope. A Steam user by the handle Kridershot has created a number of buildings for Cities: Skylines which replicate structures from the aforementioned 2003 strategy.

The collection mainly includes public buildings - such as parks, medical facilities or schools. There are also residential buildings. In total, Kridershot created 20 different structures. Each of them is deceptively similar to the original version from SimCity 4. Of course, this is a fraction of what you'll find in the 2003 game.

You can download the mod via the Steam Workshop. You can find the entire collection of items at the link below. As soon as you subscribe to the objects, they will automatically download and appear in your game.

It must be admitted that the whole thing looks exceptionally good. For testing, I downloaded the collection myself to see how it would perform in the game. The buildings were made carefully, with attention to all details. Let the following images serve as an example.
