Several shops rushed to ship the Collector's Edition of Cyberpunk 2077. The game is already in the hands of a handful of lucky players and CD Projekt RED asks them not to stream the game before its official release.
There is still a week left until the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, but it turns out that some shops have already started shipping and first players have received their copies. Among the retail companies that surprised their customers is the American retail chain Best Buy. For the time being, it seems that mainly people who pre-ordered the collector's edition are getting their copies.
Some customers also report that they have received emails with shipment information announcing delivery in the next day or two. All this means that quite a lot of people will be able to play CP2077 before the launch. CD Projekt RED reacted to this situation by warning that lucky receivers should not stream the game or release other materials showing gameplay. This embargo will be lifted at noon on December 9.
The creators explain that they want to avoid the situation when videos released before the launch would spoil the plot for other players. We also suspect that an important reason is the game's technical condition. Along with the launch, a big patch will debut, introducing improvements from two months of work that have passed since the project has gone gold. Thus, earlier streams would not reflect the final quality.
Let's recall that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The game will also be available in the Google Stadia streaming platform. The game will debut on the market on 10 December this year.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that CD Projekt RED started teasing some attractions for fans of Cyberpunk 2077. An audio message was published on Twitter, in which V, the main character of the game, informs that she received a tip about a lucrative job offer and will provide details soon.
