Soul Hackers 2 Gives Hope Ahead of Persona 5 Royal's PC Release

Soul Hackers 2 has lived to see a release and is collecting positive reviews. The Atlus' game is praised by both reviewers and players. Some of them believe that the high quality of the game on PC is a good prediction before the release of Persona 5 Royal on PC.

jRPG for fans of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei

Soul Hackers 2 reviews include repeating statements that in terms of gameplay the title combines the best features of Persona 5 and Shin Megami Tensei 5. It is supposed to be truly engaging and in no way inferior to other jRPGs.

The high quality level of the game is, moreover, manifested in its ratings. The game boasts a score of 76/100 (for the PS5 version) on Metacritic. It is rated even better by gamers. Both on the aforementioned website and on Steam Soul Hackers 2 is receiving enthusiastic reviews.

It is worth mentioning at the same time that Soul Hackers 2 is a continuation of Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker from 1997. Unlike its predecessor, however, the sequel debuted on platforms much closer to Western gamers (PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series S/X and PC).

This is, incidentally, another symptom of an increasingly clear trend. Atlus is more often choosing to develop or port their games to PC and consoles popular in the west. At the same time, the quality of this type of games is really high, which according to many fans of the company's works is a good prediction before the release of Persona 5 Royal on PCs (scheduled for October 21).
