Spent $10,000 in Diablo Immortal and Got Nothing

Streamer Quin69 spent almost 10K in Diablo Immortal. Despite that he didn't manage to get the most valuable items.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Streamer Quin69 spent almost $10K in Diablo Immortal.
  • His goal was to obtain a 5-star legendary gem of the highest level.
  • Unfortunately, even such a large sum was not enough to draw the coveted item.

Microtransactions in Diablo Immortal are controversial, to say the least. A lot of hype was created by information about the expenses, which would have to be incurred in order to reach the maximum level with the help of money.

Another disturbing testimony of the game's extremely aggressive monetization has appeared online.

Ten thousand thrown down the drain

Streamer Quin69 set himself a goal to get a 5-star legendary gem of maximum level. This is the most powerful type of item of this type, which is difficult to obtain during the game.

So the creator decided to use microtransactions and check how much money he would have to spend to wait for the drop of the desired jewel. Unfortunately, after several hours of streaming, we still do not know the answer to this question.

Quin69 spent exactly 10,335 New Zealand dollars on paid content in Diablo Immortal. Despite this, he didn't manage to get a single coveted gem. Judging by his reaction, it could have taken a toll on his psyche.

The streamer also jokingly stated that his path to spending $20,000 has just begun. However, considering how much money he has spent so far, it is hard to say if this is really just a joke.
