One of October's most anticipated releases - at least for PlayStation 5 owners - is Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The game will be released in about three weeks, but its reviews will appear online a little earlier.

When? It was revealed today on Twitter/X by Geoff Keighley - a popular industry journalist and presenter, who is the originator and host of events such as The Game Awards, Summer Game Fest and gamescom Opening Night Live.

Embargo on reviews of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be lifted on October 16 at 4 p.m. CET. Will the latest work of Insomniac Games turn out to be better than the very good prequel from 2018? There are many indications confirming this - impressions of journalists who have already had the opportunity to play this game are, in fact, very positive.

As a little over a week ago the developer announced that the game has gone gold - meaning that it is completed and will go to the pressing plant - in principle we can be sure no more delays will take place (despite some recorded exceptions) and, relatively speaking, of its technical condition. It's worth adding that the title will offer a ton of accessibility options for people with various disabilities. This is an element that Sony cares a lot about - for example, in The Last of Us: Part I also implemented them in abundance.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released on October 20. The game will be released exclusively on PS5, although it is possible that, following the example of its predecessor, it will be ported for PC in some time. Such a portwill soon be received by Horizon: Forbidden West.
