On Sunday, we wrote about Splitgate, a free-to-play FPS focused on online gameplay. The title fell victim to its own success. When the game's open beta, offering cross-play, was launched on July 13, the game's servers were flooded by thousands of new players. Popularity was so great that the devs decided to shut down the title for one night. As it turns out, now the situation has repeated itself and the game is down again. This state of affairs is expected to last until tomorrow.
At the same time it was announced that the full version will not be released on July 27, as it was assumed until now. Instead, the title will arrive on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in August (no date was specified).
