Star Wars: Battlefront – open Beta lauches this October

Electronic Arts revealed that the open Beta tests of Star Wars: Battlefront, FPS from the developer DICE, are coming in October this year. The Beta will be available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC users.

Some time ago, a chosen group of gamers had the chance to test Star Wars: Battlefront as a closed, PC exclusive Alfa. However, according to this announcement from Electronic Arts, in early October – more than a month before the game is officialy released, we can expect an open Beta as well. What’s maybe even more important, this time the game will be available for all intended release platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The October Beta will feature two missions: Walker Assault on the planet Hoth and Survival Mission on Tatooine. Furthermore, the Beta will introduce Drop Zone – a brand-new game mode. Further information about Drop Zone Mode will be revealed in the near future. The full version of the game is set for release on the 19th of November, 2015.

Star Wars: Battlefront is one of the most anticipated games this year. For now, all the signs are saying that DICE will deliver a juicy piece of software that will please both the Star Wars and multiplayer game fans.

The full game will allow us to take part in the epic struggle on land and in the air (using X-Wings, TIE fighters or even the Millenium Falcon) in several multiplayer modes, including: Walker Assault, Blast, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron, the freshly-announced Drop Zone, and more. The battles will give you a chance to visit some famous locations (Hoth, Endor, and Tatooine among them) and meet the famous characters (i.e. Darth Vader or Boba Fett).

We already had our chance to play the game, first time during the E3 when we checked how the game deals with infantry combat and later, on the gamescom in Germany, when testing the Fighter Squadron Mode. The results of both tests were very pleasant and we are eager to test the game some more.
