Stardew Valley Expanded, the biggest mod for the agricultural RPG with update 1.5.11
1.15.11 version of the great mod Stardew Valley Expanded has been released. The update brought a ton of fixes. Three new maps accompanying the project have also been refreshed.
One of the great advantages of Stardew Valley, the most popular farming RPG, is its large and active modding community. The most impressive result of fans’ efforts is the massive Stardew Valley Expanded mod, which acts as an unofficial expansion, adding new locations, characters, and features to the game. In recent months, the project has significantly developed.
The latest update, numbered 1.15.11, released a few days ago, brought numerous bug fixes and gameplay balance improvements. It also enhanced the graphics of several elements and thoroughly cleaned up the mod’s internal structure to make it easier for other modders to create their own addons.
Bug fixes and balance tweaks also dominated a few earlier updates in recent months, but those also introduced new plants and animals, as well as increased detail in many locations.
Alongside the development of the main mod, three additional maps specifically designed for Stardew Valley Expanded have also been updated: Frontier Farm (recommended for starting out with this mod), as well as Grandpa's Farm and Immersive Farm 2 Remastered.
The project’s creator is currently focused on developing another major mod for Stardew Valley titled Castle Village, which will introduce a new city with unique architecture, dozens of NPCs, magical artifacts, and dungeons inspired by The Legend of Zelda series. It’s an ambitious undertaking, so it’s great to see the creator still committed to developing Stardew Valley Expanded as well.
