Starship Troopers: Extermination Update Adds New Mode

Excellent tactical cooperative shooter Starship Troopers: Extermination has received a major update. It bears the number 0.5.0 and brings many highly-anticipated features and improvements.

1. The biggest highlight is a new mode called Hive Hunt. It's a 4-player gameplay variant in which we have to fight in bug tunnels. The players' goal is to place nuclear bombs in the Arachnid Nest Cores and then evacuate before time runs out.
2. The interface has also been improved. Most notably, we can now see the stream of experience points earned on the screen, making it easier for players to grasp what contributes the most to XP accumulation.
3. The balance of gameplay in terms of progression, classes and weaponry has also been heavily improved.
4. New weapons, base builds, tools and perks have been added.
5. The version of the Unreal Engine used by the game has been updated to 5.2.1.

There are also numerous bug fixes.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is available exclusively on PC. The game debuted in early access on May 17, this year. The title can be purchased on Steam, where the game has been received very warmly - as much as 91% of reviews of the game are positive.
