Steel Division: Normandy 44 with a new trailer and a bunch of info

Steel Division: Normandy 44 creators shared a new in-game trailer from this WWII RTS. They also revealed some interesting info on the battlegroup mechanics as well as a new division.

Paradox Interactive shared a new in-game trailer of Steel Division: Normandy 44, an upcoming World War II real-time strategy, developed by the French studio Eugen Systems known for the Wargame series. The video shows off a battle, where infantry, tanks and planes clash near a small town in Normandy. It all looks pretty impressive for an RTS, doesn’t it?

If you look forward to playing this game, you will probably be much interested in the most recent Twitch stream, in which the developers explain some of the game’s mechanics, mainly the battlegroup creation. This is an online-focused option, which lets you create your own “decks” of units by picking them up from all the available unit types in the selected division. Such selfmade battlegroups you can then quickly be called to fight in skirmishes with AI and multiplayer battles.
