After a few days after release, it is clear that Syberia: The World Before turned out to be a much better game than Syberia 3. On Steam, as much as 94% of user ratings praise the fourth installment.
Last Friday saw the debut of Syberia: The World Before, the latest installment of Microids' adventure game series. Enough time has passed since the release to check how the game was received. Looking at the ratings on Steam, the creators may be satisfied.
It is worth adding that Syberia: The World Before was also warmly received by trade media. On OpenCritic the average rating of the game is 80%. Here we can also see a huge progress compared to the previous game, whose score was only 51%.
All this shows that the devs have learned from the failure of Syberia III and did not repeat the old mistakes in the fourth part, ultimately providing a game worthy of the brand.
Syberia: The World Before is currently available exclusively on PC. The game can be purchased on Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store.
Later in 2022, ports for yet unspecified consoles will also be released.
