Two upcoming high-profile fighting games had their moment at this year's The Game Awards - Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. The trailers for both titles show a bit of gameplay. We also got a preview of the story in the more serious Tekken 8. Trailer of Street Fighter 6 on the other hand, showcases new characters and tries to encourage preorders. Street Fighter 6 will debut on June 2, 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Premiere of Tekken 8 could also come next year exclusively on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PCs.
