The Crew Motorfest is entering its third season, which will last until June. During this time, we'll take part in „Hollywood” activities, as well as drive new cars - although players have pointed out that too many of them are already available in Forza Horizon 5.
The Hoonigan crew has been entertaining us since December at The Crew Motorfest, but it's time for something new. Tomorrow morning the third season of the game will begin, in which the Ivory Tower studio will focus on cinematic spectacle. We will primarily get to experience it through a new playlist, which consists of 9 chapters. Upon completion of these chapters, we will receive a new car -- the 1963 Aston Martin DB5. The season also offers 15 side activities, 25 challenges, and additional music.
Furthermore, the game will receive an update introducing several Quality of Life (QoL) changes, these include:
The Aston Martin DB5 is of course not the only added car. More than 20 new vehicles will be introduced to the game, but they will be released over a period of four months, until June. Here's the list of models revealed today (Ivory Tower promises unannounced surprises in the coming months):
Although the list is long, two main problems can be identified. First, almost half of these cars were released a few months earlier in The Crew 2, so they're not exactly fresh. Second, the rest of the vehicles lack freshness -- players point out that every model from Year 1 Pass (and others) has been available in the competitive Forza Horizon series for a long time. Thus, the accusations that TCM's developers drew too much inspiration from Playground Games studio's games were raised against them once again. On the flip side, could they have avoided it while aiming to complete the collection of the most iconic cars?
