The Gilded Age is an interesting series depicting the XIX century New York. We explain how many episodes both seasons have and how much time you will need to watch them.
The Gilded Age is one of the newer series available on HBO Max. It takes the viewers to New York at the end of the 19th century where they can see the problems that people from different social classes dealt with. It's hard to find shows or movies set in a similar time period, which makes The Gilded Age stand out and worth checking out.
The series focuses, among other things, on the conflict between the Russell and van Rhijn-Brook families. The first one has only recently amassed a huge fortune, while the second has been rich for generations. The Gilded Age also shows what working-class or black people face as they become part of high society.
At this moment, the series has two seasons. The first has nine episodes, and the second will have eight, but for now you can watch four of them. The episodes have a similar length and, with a few exceptions, they last about 50 minutes.
As you can see, we are already halfway through the second season and the last episode will air on December 17 this year. For now, there are no official information whether HBO will decide to make a third season.
