Youtubers Played The Invincible Demo; Gameplays Available

A flood of new gameplay notes from The Invincible have hit the web. They come from a fresh demo made available to selected youtubers. We also have important information for other players.

One of the most promising upcoming Polish games is The Invincible, a science fiction adventure game based on the prose of Polish writer Stanislaw Lem, which is being developed by Starward Industries. Now we can take a closer look at it thanks to extensive gameplay recordings, which have hit the web.

The footage comes from a demo, which the game's publisher, 11 bit studios, has made available to selected youtubers. Below you'll find footage from the SurvivalBob channel, but videos showing the demo have also been posted by a number of other content creators, including Jason Plays, ENFANT TERRIBLE, WildGamerSK Kaftann and IGN.

Importantly, the demo will be available for testing independently during the LudoNarraCon event, which will be held on Steam from May 4-8..

New demo makes a good impression

The demo made available to youtubers contains fragments from early parts of the campaign, although not from the very beginning. Therefore, the sequences shown in it are new and did not appear in earlier videos.

The demo looks excellent. Much of this is due to the fact that the game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, but what impresses most is the atmosphere and impressive retrofuturistic visuals.

The Invincible is heading for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The release is expected later this year. For now, the developers are not ready to give a more precise date, but assure that work is progressing at a good pace and this year's release is certain.

Last year, the devs announced establishing cooperation with 11 bit studios, which became the publisher of the project, providing the devs with additional funds for the work on the game. In turn, a few months ago Starward Industries signed an appendix to the agreement with the heir to Lem's work, securing another five years of exclusive rights to develop video games in the world of The Invincible.
