The Precinct is a Crime Adventure Game for 2D GTA Fans

A gangster game resembling the first two installments of GTA has been announced. Check out the first gameplay trailer for The Precinct.

The release GTA 6 probably won't be coming anytime soon. The wait may be made more pleasant with the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2023 announcement of The Precinct - a gangster game a bit reminiscent of the first two installments of Rockstar's series. You can watch its first trailer with gameplay footage below. The title is scheduled for release in 2024 on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.

In The Precinct we will play the role of a rookie police officer. Our task will be to restore order in Averno City, whose streets - maintained in the style of the 1980s - are rampant with violence and corruption. To do this, we will take part in chases and shootouts.

However, this is not all, as the developers - Fallen Tree Games, creators of the highly rated American Fugitive - are describing The Precinct as "a love letter to classic police movies." Therefore, in addition to strictly police activities - among which there will also be patrols or sticking fines for bad parking - we will be able to take part in street races, time trials, as well as stunt jumps.
