Big Leak of The Sims 5; Sims Models Need a Lot of Work

Thanks to a massive leak, a lot of footage from the upcoming The Sims 5 has hit the web. Although the game under the working title Project Rene is still in the early stages of development, we can already see what the Sims will more or less look like.

The Sims 5, or as you prefer - Project Rene - was announced during the October's Behind The Sims Summit. During the event, the developers revealed some vague information and wrapped it up with a short gameplay.

Apparently, the content presented at the time did not satisfy the curiosity of the fans, who decided to look for answers to their questions on their own. The result of their efforts was the extraction of details from the pre-alpha version of the game, which has recently been undergoing closed testing.

What's more, not only did an unauthorized version of The Sims 5 ended up on the web, but also a lot of materials from it. Admittedly, the developers are doing their best to remove everything, but as we know, nothing dies on the Internet. A perfect example of this is SimsCommunity, where most of the screenshots from the game have been collected.

On the website we can find not only graphics showing the city or apartments, but also prototype models of Sims.. At this point they do not look too encouraging, but it is worth bearing in mind that the project is still in its infancy. Let's hope that by the time of the release, which is certainly a matter of distant future, the whole thing - and especially the characters - will have improved significantly.

An introvert by nature. Since childhood, he felt a closer connection to humanism than to the sciences. Instead of exercises in maths, he preferred shutting himself up in his world and inventing new stories of his favorite anime – Dragon Ball. After years of study came a time of stagnation, which he preferred to call "searching for purpose." Looking out for destiny during the 58th screening of his beloved Die Hard, he decided – like John McCLane – to fight for a better future. He found the avenue to do this in Gamepressure. Since he's still a freshman in the newsroom, he doesn't have a target subject he wants to focus on yet. So, you can expect news about farming simulators, or the impact of Johnny Depp's trial on the future of Pirates of the Caribbean. If you ever hear that playing console games and watching movies is futile – remember this story
