The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine supposedly coming out on May 30

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine may come out in North America on May 30, 2016. Such information was found on Steam, and other sources seem to support it.

Although it’s “just” an expansion, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine is probably one of the most anticipated titles of the year. No wonder everyone is so anxious to know when the second and final add-on to the last year’s hit RPG is coming out. Fortunately, it may happen as soon as this month – the date May 30, 2016 (for the North America; May 31 for Europe) was spotted on Steam, though the info was removed shortly after.

This would be consistent with some rumors we heard over the weekend, coming from an alleged employee of a large retail chain in Poland, confirming the May 31 date for Europe. Note also that CD Projekt RED said they wanted to release the expansion before E3 2016, which kicks off on June 14.

It’s going to be a hot spring this year.

The Blood and Wine expansion is going to feature a new storyline set in a large region of Toussaint, the size of which is comparable to all Skellige Islands together. We’re looking at over a dozen hours of gameplay, and considering CD Projekt RED’s experience in storytelling, this will certainly be time well spent.
