Haunt is a word used in the case when paranormal activity happens in a place. When say “the house is haunted,” we mean that the ghost is there. There is also the other side of this coin, though. When we face a traumatic event that will stay with us forever, we may say that we are haunted by it. Nothing pleasant. I hope that you will not have to use this word in this context.
How to play Wordle
For those who are just our regular readers, and have not heard of Wordle, we have some explanations. It is a word-guessing game, which can be played on The New York Times website. You don’t have to pay for it or create an account. So, it is worth giving it a try.
The rules are not complicated.
- You have 6 tries to guess a 5-letter word.
- Letters in gray squares are not in the word at all.
- Those in the yellow fields are part of the puzzle, but you need to find a better place for them.
- If you see a letter in a green field, you don’t have to do anything with it – it is good letter and in the right spot.
