Total War: Warhammer 3's First Hotfix in a Few Days

Creative Assembly has announced that the first hotfix for Total War: Warhammer 3 should debut later this week.

Total War: Warhammer III recorded an impressive debut but it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of technical condition. Those, who have problems with the game, should be interested in the announcement of the first hotfix.

Plans to fix Total War: Warhammer III

The first patch is planned for this week, but the devs warn that its release may be delayed.

  1. The first patch is expected to fix issues that occur in DirectX 12 mode and performance issues on some Intel CPUs. The hotfix should also improve mutliplayer lobbies, which currently can refresh so fast that it's hard to pick one of them before the list is updated.
  2. The developers have a whole series of such patches planned, fixing the most important bugs. The schedule of their release will be revealed soon.
  3. The devs are considering using Steam's beta-testing feature, thanks to which the patches would first be made available to people who are interested in checking out their early versions, and only later would they go to all players.

Total War: Warhammer III launched last Thursday, February 17. The game is available only on PC.

The game recorded an excellent debut on Steam. In the case of this brand, only Total War: Three Kingdoms could boast better activity figures on launch.

However, it was not some without problems. Players complain about performance, which may partly be due to the use of the Denuvo anti-piracy system. In addition, serious problems appear in the version of the game available on Game Pass.
