Nightdive, studio specializing in revamping old hits, revealed at gamescom that the next project it will give a facelift to will be Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is a refreshed version of the third installment of the popular FPS series, originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64.
The remaster is heading to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The release will take place on November 14, this year.
The PC version will be sold on Steam.
The game will offer numerous improvements, including anti-aliasing, bloom and ambient occlusion effects, dynamic shadows or motion blur.
We will also get more detailed environmental elements and character and weapon models.

It is worth recalling that earlier Nightdive prepared Turok Remastered and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered, which are refreshed versions of the first two installments of the series. Both projects were warmly received - they have 95% and 93% positive reviews on Steam.

The development of a remaster of the third game is all the more important because, unlike the two previous installments Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion was released exclusively on the Nintendo 64. The refreshed version developed by Nightdive will therefore be the game's debut on PC.
