Command & Conquer: Legions has been officially announced. However, it does not seem to be the game that fans of the series are waiting for.
A new strategy game from the Command & Conquer series has been announced. At the same time, it is unlikely to be a game that will satisfy long-time fans of the series. Command & Conquer: Legions will come exclusively to mobile devices with Android and iOS systems. Below you can watch the first trailer for this title, which hit YouTube three months ago as non-public material, thanks to which we learned about the existence of the new C&C.
The developer of Command & Conquer: Legions is Level Infinite - a division of the Chinese company Tencent. The developers ensure that the game will be adapted to the specifics of mobile devices. What follows, sessions will be short, and the controls will be adapted to touch screens. At the same time, the game in question is expected to remain faithful to the series:
Closed beta of Command & Conquer: Legions will take place later in August, but only Android users from Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and the Philippines will participate. The full version of the game, meanwhile, is expected to be released later in 2023. The game is being developed under a licensing agreement with Electronic Arts, which holds the rights to the C&C brand.
