Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown received an update that introduces modes focusing on bosses. You'll receive 2 new costumes for finishing them.
The latest installment in the Prince of Persia series, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, may not have made a ton of money for Ubisoft, but it is certainly one of the studio's best-reviewed games in recent years. So it's pleasing that the developer hasn't withdrawn from his plans and continues to provide the promised free content. The second of the three announced updates has just been released and focuses mainly on boss fights.
After installing the patch, you will gain access to two new modes - "Boss Revenge" and "Boss Rush." The first option enables you to replay a match with a chosen opponent at any difficulty level, with the game-saving the resulting time records.
The second mode is a classic challenge in this type of game, throwing all 8 bosses at us one after the other. However, for a little bit of ease, it's possible to exchange amulets and waves of Athra (special attacks) between successive fights.
Furthermore, the update introduces a new fast travel system utilizing wak-wak trees, which is a highly desired change due to the dense distribution of these trees, unlike altars, between which players could teleport so far (eliminating backtracking), along with 2 extra costumes.
You can get the outfits by finishing Boss Rush mode for the first time, and then on the "No Hit" difficulty level (without taking any damage).
The devs also introduced a few minor fixes.
