New footage from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is online, and it's a really long gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated RPG.
The developers from The Chinese Room studio have showcased a more extensive preview of the game after revealing all the playable clans in the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. The new video posted by the devs focuses on gameplay.
They released the preview in the form of a broadcast on YouTube (you can watch it below). The long presentation was well-received by fans of the Vampire: The Masquerade series and also new players.
A demonstration of one of the first missions in Bloodlines 2 was presented. The protagonist, Phyre (we can choose the gender of our protagonist), is on a quest to find Willem, the guardian of secrets from the Nosferatu clan, who is believed to know the reason behind the mysterious mark on her hand that restricts her powers.
In addition to choosing dialogue options during a conversation with a vampire, we can observe Phyre in combat. The developers chose the Brujah clan for the protagonist, so she fights in a very brutal manner. We could also observe how some of her abilities work, such as the charge, and later an environmental puzzle that the protagonist solves using a special sense.
The devs thoroughly discussed the trailer at the end of the material, highlighting specific gameplay aspects and the player's ability to customize Phyre's story. Over the next few months, The Chinese Room studio will release information about various disciplines.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will be released this fall on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
