Yesterday evening was a real feast for PC gamers. During the PC Gaming Show Most Wanted event, we watched trailers from games such as Wild Bastards, Vampire: The Masquarade - Bloodlines 2, Gray Zone Warfare and Menace.
PC Gaming Show Most Wanted, a virtual event organized by PC Gamer, which took place yesterday, brought a ton of new footage from upcoming games. We have collected the highlights from the event for you.
The most anticipated upcoming PC game, according to PC Gamer's editors, is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.. In a video, the developers thanked for this honor, and then showed a new trailer for the project.
In turn, a new short trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 presented another playable clan in the form of the so-called Banu Haqim, consisting of warriors, wizards and assassins.
The devs of the excellent Void Bastards have announced a sequel, titled Wild Bastards. This time the space setting will be enriched with elements of western, and the gameplay is to have a more open structure than the original. The premiere will take place next year.
An impressive trailer was also shown for Gray Zone Warfare, which is a network tactical extraction shooter. The game will debut next year.
The show did not lack some Polish accents. Among other things, a new trailer for Holstin, a horror game set in 1992 in a village near Olsztyn, was presented.
During the event, we also had a chance to see a trailer for a new mode coming to Dwarf Fortress, which will combine RPG mechanics with roguelike elements, enabling us to control a single character. This variant of gameplay has been available in the text-based original for a long time, and now it will finally hit the commercial version with graphics and mouse controls.
One of the novelties announced during the event turned out to be Under the Rock. It's a survival game for up to 10 players, which will take place in a randomly generated open world. For now, the developers are not ready to give a planned release date.
Atlus, on the other hand, used the event to present a new trailer for Persona 3 Reload, a remake of the iconic JRPG. The trailer focuses on presenting the character Ken Amada, who will be one of our team members.
Also announced was Unrailed 2: Back on Track, a co-op action game that is a sequel to the 2020 game with 93% positive reviews on Steam. The sequel will debut next year in early access.
One of the most visually impressive games announced at the event turned out to be the adventure game Harold Halibut, which was developed entirely using stop-motion animation technique. The game is scheduled for release next year.
Another interesting game is Republic of Pirates. This is an economic strategy in which we will try to create our own pirate state. The game will debut next year.
A new trailer for DataJack 2020 was also shown. This is a cyberpunk action adventure game enriched with RPG elements, which, despite the simple graphics, should interest fans of Deus Ex. The player will be given full freedom to choose the methods of completing missions, and the contracts we accept and the way they are carried out will influence the further development of the plot and the subsequent jobs.
Overhype used the event to show a gameplay trailer from its next project, Menace.
Promising car action game Pacific Drive has received a new trailer. The developers also revealed the release date - the game will debut on February 22, next year.
An extensive trailer focusing on the story was also shown for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Here, however, players must be warned that the video is filled with spoilers.
Also shown were interviews with the creators of Path of Exile 2. They mainly talked about the development process, but the material also included some short gameplay footage.
A trailer was also shown for Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. It's a steampunk action RPG from the developers of Ashen. It is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2024.
