There is a director's cut version of the hit Vampire Survivors, which offers a ton of additional content. However, we don't know if we will ever get to play it.
One of the biggest surprises of the last few years has become Vampire Survivors. Its creators, that is, people from studio poncle, have been systematically expanding their work with new elements. However, it turns out that in parallel there exists a director's cut version of the game, with a ton of alternative content, to which only the developers have access.
Recall that Vampire Survivors debuted in early access on PC in December 2021, and version 1.0 was released in October 2022. Over time, the game was also ported to Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles, as well as to iOS and Android mobile devices.
Vampire Survivors has proven to be a huge success. On Steam, it has 97.44% positive reviews, making the game the third highest-rated game in the store.. More reputable are only Portal 2 and People's Playground.
Since its release, the game has been intensively developed. In addition to many free updates, it has also received two paid DLCs (Tides of the Foscari and Legacy of the Moonspell). There are also plans for a patch with a cooperative mode, which will debut on August 17. On the same day, the game will finally hit the Nintendo Switch console.
