Warhammer 40K: Darktide - Error 2007 and Internal Error Fix

If you want to find out how to deal with Error 2007 or Internal Error, then read this article. We will try to help you.

Players have been playing Warhammer 40,000: Darktide in pre-order beta for some time now. This game attracts tens of thousands of fans every day. However, unfortunately not everything works perfectly in it. Many people are plagued by all sorts of bugs. Quite recently, another one has been encountered - called error 2007. In this article, we will talk about error 2007 and internal error, as they are both connected to each other.

We do not guarantee that the following solutions will work for you. Often these are unofficial fixes that have helped community members. Keep this in mind and remember that you use them at your own risk.

General information

As the developer's website reports, the 2007 error is simply another name for the internal error, a bug already known to players. It appears from the company's announcement that they do not yet fully know the reason for the problem. Therefore, they encourage anyone affected to report it. You can do this on the linked page.

Possible solutions

  1. Check the drivers - it can be found that some players started to get this error after installing new chipset drivers, and uninstalling them fixed the bug. This means that some drivers may be causing some problems.
  2. VPN - this is definitely an unconventional solution, but some players report that using a VPN has helped them. If you decide to take this step remember that each country has its own regulations.

Check beforehand whether the use of this type of software is legal where you live. What's more, Valve itself (owner of the Steam platform) also disagrees with the use of VPNs in their shop. In the worst case scenario, this can therefore lead to very unpleasant consequences.

  1. Be patient - Fatshark is already working to remedy the problem and hopefully they will come up with some kind of permanent solution.
