Watch Dogs For Free on Epic Games Store

Two more productions will be waiting for Epic Games Store customers today. This time, the gamers will receive Watch Dogs and The Stanley Parable. As usual, the offer will be valid for one week.

Today, Epic Games will give away two more productions for free. This time the games in question will be Watch Dogs, the first part of the popular series of open-world action games from Ubisoft, as well as an experimental adventure game called The Stanley Parable. As usual, we will have one week to add these titles to our collection - on March 26 they will be replaced by another item (or items).

Watch Dogs

A gun in one hand, a smartphone in the other - truly a hero of our times.

Watch Dogs takes us to Chicago under the control of the Central Operating System (CtOS), with its citizens heavily invigilated. The main character of the game, Aiden Pearce, fights the system while seeking revenge for his niece's death. During the game, we travel through the vast city (on foot or by vehicles) and carry out missions in which we can both demonstrate our ability to apply the Rambo school of solving problems (i.e. going in all guns blazing), or play things Sam Fisher-style, eliminating enemies quietly and hacking into security systems (which enables us to use a smartphone as our primary tool of "work").

The Stanley Parable

Does nobody in this company think of the electricity bill?

The Stanley Parable, on the other hand, enables us to play as an employee of a corporation, who one day receives no instructions from the boss. Our protege decides to leave his office and check what secrets are hidden in the company's headquarters. The narrator, who has a rather unusual sense of humor, adds variety to his journey through the building. Interestingly, although the game sets subsequent goals for us to complete, their realization is fully optional.
