The manga Metaphor: ReFantazio has officially debuted. Here's where you can read it and when the next chapters will be released.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is no longer just a blockbuster game from the creators of the world-famous Persona. Now it's a larger series expanded into a manga, created in collaboration with Atlus by Yoichi Amano, author of Akaboshi: Ibun Suikoden.
The game itself was a great success, quickly gaining the sympathy of players and critics. And even Metaphor: ReFantazio won several awards at the 2024 Game Awards. The production earned the title of one of the best of 2024, so it's no surprise that expectations for the recently announced manga were also high.
Fans of Metaphor: ReFantazio didn't have to wait long for the manga's release on January 21, 2025. In English, it is available on the Manga Plus website, where you can read it for free. So if anyone is curious about this title, they can easily read it online.
The first chapter of Metaphor: ReFantazio was released on January 21, 2025, and we should expect more chapters every month. Chapter 2 of Metaphor: ReFantazio is scheduled for release on February 19, 2025.
After the assassination of the king, The United Kingdom of Euchronia falls into chaos. A tournament begins in the kingdom for the throne of a ruler who many believe has left no heir. However, the story's main character Traveler Will and his Fairy Companion Gallica know that the prince is still alive, but has been cursed. Their task is to remove the curse and restore the rightful ruler, however, to achieve their goal, Will must participate in a tournament for the throne.
The plot, therefore, should largely coincide with what was shown in the game. As in the case of the manga based on Persona games, here, too, the characters and story may be expanded.
