During today's episode of Night City Wire, the devs at CD Projekt RED shared several materials about Cyberpunk 2077. The most interesting of them concerned the character of Johnny Silverhand (and the actor playing him - Keanu Reeves), but there was no shortage of new information about the soundtrack and JALI technology.
Today's episode of Night City Wire featured a new gameplay trailer, which presents the character of Johnny Silverhand from the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 (whose looks and voice were provided by Keanu Reeves). There was also material in which the actor himself talked about what it was like to play the character in CD Projekt RED's game from behind the scenes. Both materials can be seen below.
The creators also decided to provide detailed information about the game's soundtrack - radio stations, artists involved in creating the music (several new tracks are available here), as well as a special mode that will allow online creators (e.g. streamers) to completely disable licensed songs (in response to recent problems on Twitch).
Then we learned a little more about JALI technology, which allows the developers to adjust the mouth movement and facial expressions of the characters to the pre-recorded lines by the actors, to make the animations more suitable for the language chosen by the player.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on December 10, this year on PCm PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5.
