Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Looks Surprisingly Good as FPP

Thanks to a fan project, it became possible to explore the world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom from a first-person perspective.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a game released exclusively on Nintendo Switch, but through emulation it is also very popular on PC. What's more, PC gamers have already started creating mods for the hit. One of the most interesting released so far is Immersive Camera.

The project enables us to explore the game world from a first-person perspective, allowing for a much closer look at the beautiful locations prepared by developers at Nintendo.

The mod's method is simple - it uses the existing camera system and removes visible interface elements from it. However, this causes a problem - the FPP view is maintained only during walks. Performing an attack or a jump returns to the third-person camera. Immersive Camera thus does not allow for full first-person experience, but for exploring the virtual world it is perfectly suitable. And although the project was developed mainly with PC in mind, it can also be installed on a console.

Recall that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released on May 12, this year, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

The project was met with an extremely warm reception. The game has received very good reviews, with an average rating of 96% on Metacritic. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom also turned out to be a huge commercial hit, moving more than 10 million copies in just three days after its release.
