Necklace with Two Holes - where to find it?

The Necklace with Two Holes is one of the Treasures. It is a Combinable item, so it is possible to combine it with other items to obtain a new artifact of much greater value.

You can pull the necklace out of the well located at the back of the Church in the village. You need a Work Wheel to do this, and the method to get it has been described on the Wells - how to start the mechanism? page.

True to its name, the necklace has two holes for items, but finding them can be quite troublesome. Below, you will find instructions on how to get to them.

Item 1 - Pigeon Blood Ruby

The first item to put inside the necklace can be found after you return from the Reservoir at the earliest, as a Crank is required to reach it. Use the Crank on the Mechanical Door marked on the map. This will bring you to the ladder.

Explore the newly unlocked upper area. You can now get to the box on the roof, which has been marked in the picture. A ruby is hidden inside.

Item 2 - Large Pigeon Blood Ruby

The second item can also be obtained only after you get the crank.

Reach the Drawbridge shown in the pictures - it is located west of the Altar (the one where Duke is). You can use the crank to lower the drawbridge.

By lowering the bridge, you will reach the boat. You can get on it and you have to sail it north.

Get to the boat's mooring spot and head towards the hut Ethan visited earlier after dealing with the boss in the castle. Next to the hut is the well shown in the pictures. Use the Work Wheel on it. In this case, exceptionally, the entrance to the secret basement will be unlocked.

There is a small and simple puzzle to solve in the basement. Reach the control panel in the image above and get all the lights to turn green. This will allow Ethan to move on.

Push the first cart to the side and the second one down.

The protagonist will eventually get to a small box which contains the ruby.

Completing the necklace

Open the inventory and go to the Treasure tab. You have to combine:

1. Necklace with Two Holes
2. Pigeon Blood Ruby
3. Large Pigeon Blood Ruby

As a result, you will receive the Dimitrescu's Necklace, which will be worth as much as 50000 Lei at Duke' s.
